Detergent. A small dose of liquid detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener.
Company. Add a few towels to the load to further balance the drum.
Drying. Air-dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Never tumble-dry shoes.

Should I place both shoes in one bag?
No. Each bag is sized for one shoe. Washing one shoe per bag keeps the load balanced, protects the shoes from each other, and lets water circulate properly.
Which shoes can be machine washed?
Most trainers with mesh, knit, or canvas uppers and glued rubber soles handle a gentle machine wash well. Always check the care label of your specific pair first.
Can I wash leather or suede shoes?
We do not recommend it. Leather and suede can stain, stiffen, or lose their finish in a machine wash — regardless of the bag used.
Should I remove laces and insoles?
Yes. Remove insoles and wash them separately or by hand. Laces can go in the bag with the shoe.
Which washing-machine cycle should I use?
